Saugeen Shores is made up of the towns of Port Elgin, Southampton and Saugeen Township. We have many trails through the area and with other areas doing Power Trails of caches, I knew this area was just waiting to have one too. So this is the start of Saugeen Shores Rail Trail's first Power Trail.
I have placed a cache every 150 to 200 meters along this trail. There are several different sizes from small, just holding a log to larger ones that you can leave and take things from. All are within 10 feet of the trail, so not alot of bushwacking needed here (sorry Maneau, took away all your fun on this). There are some branches, sticks, long grass and even raspberry bushes to watch for (maybe even some mud in the fall for you McCrews).
This is the eighth cache placed hence the number! Cache container is small.
