The Cache was originally a 1-litre system container. Replaced May 2015 with 500 gm peanut butter jar and replacement log book following damage to the original. This GC is intended to be a found quickly so you can log your success then head straight away to the perfect location for a Port Hills Picnic.
The Picnic Palace (yes Palace, with shelter and seating provided) is over the brow 330m SW from the given coordinates. Bring a snack and enjoy the view while on your hike.
Geocachers who have been Bush Bashing will understand why the GC has not been positioned at the picnic spot.
