Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of 8 caches placed within the NJ State Fairgrounds. These caches are set up so you can walk to all of them in no particular order. Also, most can be driven to on uncrowded days! The location of this cache series periodically hosts varied events throughout the year. Some of these may require the payment of parking fees. The presence of muggles may also increase drastically during these times. Good Luck.

The Sussex County Farm &Horse Show was started in September 1919.  In 1963 the decision was made to purchase 126 acres of land right here where you are standing. Over the years, more land was purchased to expand the fairgrounds.   In 1999 it acquired the additional name of NJ State Fair This geocache is one of 8 placed in the fairgrounds.  You can walk all around the fairgrounds or drive pretty close to this location.
