I have based this series on obscure places. In my line of work, I often come across small places and areas that are known by names that the rest of the world may have never heard. They aren’t on most maps. They are HAMLETS, and throughout NY, I have come across hundreds of them. Some of them have post offices, some even have a sign posting the name. Often though, the name is known by the locals – and no one else. Your goal for these caches: find the name of these little places, based on the cache names and the clues. I will break them up into geographical areas. For each completed area, there will be a FTF prize, and another prize for the FTF for the whole series.
As of now, there is no theme or standard for the caches – they may be micro, nano, or EXTRA large, depending on where I can hide each one. Record the number and name located at the top of each log sheet, and these clues will lead you to the final cache.
This cache should be fairly easy and is a medium sized tube with cammo tape. There are a few trinkets for kiddies. Trade fairly and be sure to close the lid tightly.
