A nice easy cache to find while you acclimate at the Mauna Kea Visitor's Center. Take your time, bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and cold weather clothing... 9000 feet above sea level can be dangerous.
Make sure to be careful on this short hike from the Visitor's Center, elevation can be very dangerous. Please heed any and all warnings at the Center and make sure you have both the right vehicle and equipment for this road and elevation. Check the Center website for any health and weather restrictions. Always be safe and responsible while caching.
