”Ishigando” means the stone monument of a talisman, which are
written with 「石敢當」 by Chinese character.
In Okinawa, since the demon "Majimun" who wanders about in the
city has the character which goes straight on, if he collides with the
end of a T-shaped junction, a three-forked road, etc., he is believed to
go into the house on the other side.
Therefore, 「石敢當」 was prepared in the end of a T-shaped junction,
a three-forked road, etc., and it was considered as the talisman
which prevents a demon's invasion.
It is supposed that a demon will be broken into pieces if it hits 「石敢當」
Cache was hidden near 「石敢當」.
Since there are a sightseeing muggle and an staff of a parking lot,
please take care and search in the daytime!

石敢當は、「石敢當」などの文字が刻まれた魔よけの石碑や石標のことを言います。
沖縄においては、市中を徘徊する魔物「マジムン」は直進する性質を持つため、丁字路や
三叉路などの突き当たりにぶつかると向かいの家に入ってきてしまうと信じられています。
そのため、丁字路や三叉路などの突き当たりに石敢當を設け、魔物の侵入を防ぐ魔よけ
としました。魔物は石敢當に当たると砕け散るとされています。
キャッシュは石敢當のそばに隠しました。日中は観光者や駐車場の係員がいますので
気をつけて捜索して下さい!
