Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache in a town conservation area.  Please enter only from the High Street Extension side. Parking is at N 43o26.853' W071o35.835' This is a thinly disguised park&grab. Bushwhacking is wasted effort and will annoy the neighbors to the point of the cache closing. Please be careful to tread lightly in the area.

This is a new cache, location changed from prior hide. A couple of archived caches in the area made it possible to move this to a more neighbor-friendly location. This cache is named in honor of one of the buffaloes who gave Buffalo Park its name.  The buffalo died, and its stuffed head hung over the fireplace in the family camp for many years.  Why he was named Woodrow Wilson, I am not sure, although until the Baby Boom generation, the family was composed only of staunch Republicans !  The area grew over during the second half of the 20th Century, and has been a green area for years.  This is a conservation area, so please go accordingly.  If it appears that too much damage is being done to the flora, I will pull the cache.  CITO doesn't seem to be a big issue, but any help is appreciated. See the Don't Go Batty series of caches for other information.  Please note the rules posted at the entrance, which include a prohibition on use of the park after sundown. This will probably not be accessible in the winter. Nice FTF prize ! Congrats to nhraven on a late FTF-wow, the usual suspects were napping !
