Geocache Description:

RED WING BLACKBIRD Small container placed with permission in the Environmental Areas of U of M Dearborn. Area closes at dusk.

Red wing blackbirds have adapted from being prairie birds to living next to ponds and lakes, like where this cache has been placed. They often weave together a nest between two cattails. Their nest is quite camouflaged, and the female red wing looks nothing like the male, being camouflaged herself. Although this cache is camouflaged too, it is not in the same way.
