As if the drugstore that was supposed to go where the first Where's the Drugstore cache is wasn't enough, another was supposed to go where this strip mall is. Presumably they were going to tear the mall down. We were told by the people at the pizza pizza place that was here that they had lost their lease because of it. Supposedly the same was true for the hobby store that was here. We preferred both over yet another drugstore. Once there were a dozen businesses and a medical office here. Now there are two restaurants and the medical office.
Once again, economic timing wasn't so good on this one and plans disappeared. In late 2011 the strip mall was put up for auction by a drugstore chain out of Chicago as excess property. Now in 2012 there does seem to be some activity to put businesses back in.
