Geocache Description:


This is our first puzzle cache. The cache is not hidden at the above coordinates, but is within 2 kilometers.

We hadn’t left town for a while so we decided to pack up and go for a couple of family outings. We ended up exploring a number of places that we had never been to before.

On our first trip, we didn’t go that far. Some of the places we explored were Caulfeild via Woodgreen Drive in West Vancouver and a park on McCallum Road in Abbotsford. Heading home, we decided to check out the new Golden Ears bridge by taking 192nd. After all that driving, we decided to take a break. After zero driving for a while, we decided to go back to Caulfeild for dinner.

On our second trip, we decided to go down to Washington State and took the I5. Our first stop was Fort Lewis (off of Berkeley Street) where we visited our cousin who is in the military there. We continued south and spent the afternoon at Vancouver Lake near Vancouver, Washington which is easy to get to from NE 78th St. After a nice day at the lake, we decided to head home, with a quick stop for dinner nearby at Biscuits Cafe on NE 134th St. After dinner, we continued on towards home and eventually we had to stop for gas at the Shell station on Old Fairhaven Parkway south of Bellingham. After that it was a quick run to the border and home.

As we came through Surrey, I thought of all the places that we had just been to and decided to hide a cache to remember the trips by.

Come down to the end of this little-known road and enjoy a quick find while watching the ducks and blue herons in the creek.
