Near the Hubbard Ave entrance to North Idaho College (NIC).
This intersection of NW Boulevard & Hubbard Ave underwent major reconstruction during the summer and fall of 2011. This is now one of three major entrances to NIC. Hubbard is now part of the Higher Education Corridor. This corridor is mainly on land purchased by NIC that was the old lumber mill owned by Stimson Lumber Co. The mill was closed a few years ago and was completely dismantled. Most of the cost for the road came from the city's urban renewal district, the Lake City Development Corporation. The idea behind this development is to incease the presence of higher education near the city-center. Not only will NIC have room for expansion, but so too, the U of I, Boise State, Idaho State and Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC). Please enjoy the public art on your visit. This is well-hidden small cache container with small trade goods. There are many muggles both on foot and in cars. Do your best to be stealthy, but you will probably be seen. Hopefully, it will not get stolen. It is at elevation 2140 +/-. Congratulations TheGreatOz for FTF in original location.
