This is the fifth of what I hope will be many more caches along the bikeway. Please add your own personal tribute along the bikeway.
Port Power won the AFL Grand Final in 2004
Port had had a few good seasons leading up to 2004, finishing top of the ladder but then fading, or choking in the finals. In 2004 they beat Brisbane who were going for thier fourth Grand Final victory.
The team was full of well known names; Damien Hardwick, Chad and Kane Cornes, Warren Tredrea (C), Brendon Lade, Gavin Wanganeen and Stuart Dew. Sadly Matthew Primus was injured and unable to play.

One of the memorable moments was Mark Williams speech at the end of the game, where he told "Allan Scott - you were wrong" and choking himself with his tie.... Took some apologiing to fix that oops.
