Geocache Description:

A walk through one of the most beautiful of Seattle parks to the Pooh Stick bridge.

Pooh Sticks is a classic children's game from A.A. Milne's House at Pooh Corner. We (the parents) played when we were kids and we (the parents) passed it on to our own children. When they were young it was an excellent way to get them out of the house and agreeable to a walk in the lovely gorge at Ravenna Park. Whether you have youngsters or are simply young in your heart, walk through the ravine to this magical bridge and have yourself a little game. Cache is pre-loaded with some fun items from our son's animal erasure collection. It's tucked well out of site but no bushwacking is required - just a little thinking about where a kid might hide something.

How to play Pooh Sticks:

1. Each player finds a stick or a pine cone - something small that will float
2. Players line up on the up-stream side of the bridge with their floaters at the ready
3. At the count of 3, everyone drops their floater into the stream and rushes to the down-stream side of the bridge
4. Winner is the first floater to appear!
