Bringing U.P. the Rear Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

dadunkindude: This has been a great location for a cache (has gone through a couple different hiding types) but has been notorious for getting muggled. Since I am no longer in the local area, and my maintenance contact is unavailable for an extended period of time, I am archiving this cache to open the spot up to someone else able to check on it more reliably.

I hope this cache brought some fun to the area while it was up!

Geocache Description:

Just a quick park and grab.

UPDATE (14 OCT 12): The caboose is open for business! Free self-guided tours, donations requested to continue the restoration process. This cache is hidden next to a piece of railroading history. The town of Mt Home relocated from higher in the foothills so it could be close to the tracks when the Union Pacific Railroad came through. At times, a carnival or farmer's market will be happening in the park. If you wait long enough, you may see a train thundering through with a variety of different loads.
