Geocache Description:

A no-frills Travel Bug lodging located just off a dirt footpath in the Whilamut natural area. Beware the Red Herring. Look for the existing Geotrail leading to GZ, we keep it cleared of the evil blackberry ankle biters... or you can bushwhack and bleed! Please, Please, Please, TBs only Please! No Geobling

Drop off your TBs for overnight or longer stay. Skip the luxury accommodations—the hostel provides basic services for travelers on a budget. There’s easy access to scenic natural areas with hiking trails and other caches.

This is a modestly-appointed container for Travel Bugs only. Please, no geo-bling, it just takes up room needed for weary Travelers. Take a bug and leave a bug. If the cache is well stocked with bugs, you can take one without leaving one, just don't leave it empty.

There are several ways to approach the cache. Please be sure to read carefully before you begin unless you really like painful bushwhacking. To avoid the blackberries and boot sucking swamp mud please start at one of the waypoints. T1 and T3 are just off Bardell AV. T1 is in the open area east of 3660 Bardell AV. The trail is well mowed and easy to recognize. It is a public right of way and the best way to access the cache . T3 is at the end of Bardell AV just before the gated entrance to the Covey Run Condos. If you opt to begin at the start of the Bike Trail (Waypoint T3) you will quickly reach a point that is only 120 feet north of the cache. IMPORTANT, do not go down the bank into the blackberries and across the swamp. If you are still on the asphalt part of the trail you have not gone far enough to reach the start of the dirt footpath (Waypoint T2)T2 is just off the concrete bike path as it parallels I-5. Any of these approaches will get you to the dirt trail, which is how you want to access the cache if you choose this approach. GZ is about 70 north of the dirt foot path. Once you get to the dirt footpath and approach GZ look for the less obvious of the two geotrails leading back into the trees. Good luck.
