That said, please be forewarned, this particular cache may not be for everyone. As mentioned above. It will require a trek through knee high grass, and then a scramble into a thicket worthy of Briar Rabbit.
It is best to park at the road closed signs and walk around the end of decorative fence. The thicket is most easily accessed from the north side (higher ground), by way of an animal path that bisects the area. I marked this point that it enters the thicket with a yellow piece of paracord tied to a sapling just above this trail, about 5 feet high.
This one is similar to some of our other hides in that it will require a tool... and we have supplied it for you.
The problem is that you have to retrieve the 'tool' so that you can perform its intended task to allow you to open the cache to access the logbook. Remember, the tool is small and must be coaxed from its hidey hole. It is not attached, so be careful not to drop it once it comes out.
Some of the tools that are strongly discouraged are: hammers, bats, crowbars, chisels, etc..
11/17/12: please note the cache location was moved a few feet. Still in the same area, but a little better hidden.
Congratulations to the team effort between Will'sBigAdventure and Feef1701 for the combined FTF! Great job guys!
