A social event at Church Street Pizza, 324 Church Street NE, on Sunday, September 2 between roughly five and eight p.m.
First thing, this place is not very large. The owner (Dimitri) says there is room inside for about 35, 40 if everyone is good friends. Seating for maybe 10 outside on the (shaded) sidewalk. This is where the 'tailgating' part comes in. There is lots of parking here (and the street is fairly quiet), so those of you who have vehicles with tailgates, are encouraged to come and set up. If you don't have a tailgate, but can bring chairs, you are welcome to do that, too. Everyone is still going to be close together, so you'll still be able to wander around, say hi to everyone, and talk about caching. The only real restriction is that you'll have to go inside to buy food. The weather should be nice, so we can have a nice evening of socializing.
And he has gluten free! If you have a particular request, just give me a heads up.
When you are driving here, remember Church Street is one way north. The trick is to come in on Chemeketa Street (which is two way), then turn north on Church, and the event will be about 50 yards up on the right.
