Food, Fun & Fellowship...AGAIN!!

August 18th is the date set for the 2nd annual "International Geocaching Day". We had so much fun last year that we could not let this day go by without doing an event. Make plans to be with us as we celebrate the 12th year of the great hobby/sport we all enjoy. Sooooooooo...let's get together and have some fun, and bring your coins for discovery too.

When: Saturday, August 18th 1pm - 4pm

Where: Fuddruckers @ 1509 John B White Sr Blvd Spartanburg, SC 29301

Who: EVERYONE!! The young, the young at heart, the curious, the new-to-geocaching, the experienced cacher.

What's going on: We will be celebrating the 2nd International Geocaching Day by getting together with friends and meeting new ones. If you are new to geocaching in the Upstate area or have been in the game for a while this is the Meet & Greet for you. It is time to put some faces to the names you have been seeing on those logs recently. Plus, during the course of everything, you will get to see some cool coins.

Of course, there will be enough food for everyone, but you do not have to buy anything or eat in order to participate in the event. You can check the menu selection HERE, and pricing (although subject to change) HERE.

The plan is to have door prizes again this year, and one item has already been donated. If you have something you would like to donate bring it with you and set it on the table.

There will be a place to set out your coins for discovery if you want to bring those along with you. There will also be a place set aside for trackables so bring those bugs you've been hanging onto and drop them in the event.

Most of all, come join us for a good time of fellowship. As our 2nd year of geocaching is around this time as well, we reflect back to all the people we have met along the way, and the friendships we have been blessed with. Geocaching to us is not necessarily about the destination, but the journey; and part of the journey is enjoying it with friends. So make plans to join us on August 18th to add to your journey of geocaching by sharing stories with fellow geocachers.
