Geocache Description:


 


This is one of five caches that will contain a clue to the final sixth south cache. All of the Civil War south caches, will be south of PA route 422 and be named after famous South Civil War Generals. These caches will also take you on a drive through Lebanon county and Mr. Blackbolt's stomping grounds. The Civil War North Caches will be North of PA 422 and named after famous Northern Generals an also contain clues for the final 6th north cache. Additionally there will be a bonus cache that can be found by combining clues from both of the final sixth cache.

P.G.T. Beauregard was born on May 28, 1818. He was a prominent Confederate General who was also a civil engineer at the U.S. Military Academy. During the Civil War he commanded the armies in the Western Theater. He died on 2/20/1898. He is buried at the Tomb of the Army of Tennessee, Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans.
