Geocache Description:

Dixieland Delight caches spotlight a variety of flowers found in our beautiful area.  Please note that you might not find a given flower type at a particular location.

Begonias are a large group of succulent herbs, shrubs, and vines that are commonly grown as ornamentals.  Most begonias are annual or perennial herbs with jointed stems.  They are easy to culture and have many varieties.  They are susceptible to frost damage and grace Southern gardens after spring has fully arrived up until the first nip of cold in the fall.
