Geocache Description:

Dixieland Delight caches spotlight a variety of flowers found in our beautiful area.  Please note that you might not find a given flower type at a particular location.

The verbena is cultivated as a garden annual or perennial and comes in a variety of colors.  One of my favorites is homestead verbena, which is a deep royal purple.  The flowers are very attractive to butterflies and provide nectar for bees as well.
