Esse Museu a céu aberto fica nos jardins do Auditório Cláudio Santoro, em uma área de 350.000 m2.
Ao sair do Auditório você vai entrar em um bosque com esculturas dessa espetacular artista.
São 108 esculturas, esculpidas em bronze e cimento branco, com diversas figuras, inclusive humanas, em perfeita comunhão com a paisagem.
Felícia Leiner nasceu em Varsóvia, Polônia, em 1904, e em 1927 veio para o Brasil, país que adotou como seu.
Aos 44 anos começou seus estudos artísticos com o renomado escultor Victor Brecheret e em 1963 foi consagrada como a melhor escultora nacional.
O Museu em Campos do Jordão foi criado em 1979, e era um sonho de Felícia, que ao visitar o lugar disse: "Em minha primeira visita ao lugar, antevi flores silvestres misturando-se à música tocada no Auditório, numa viagem por caminhos pontilhados por minhas esculturas".
O resultado foi fantástico!!
This outdoor museum is located in the gardens of Claudio Santoro Auditorium, in an area of 350,000 m2.
Upon exiting the auditorium you will enter a forest with sculptures from that spectacular artist.
They are 108 sculptures, sculpted in bronze and white cement, with several figures, including humans, in a perfect harmony with the landscape.
Felicia Leiner was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1904 and in 1927 came to Brazil, that she has adopted as her country.
At the age of 44 she began her artistic studies with the renowned sculptor Victor Brecheret and in 1963 she was recognized as the best national sculptor.
The Museum in Campos do Jordao was created in 1979 and was a dream of Felicia, who said while visiting the place: "On my first visit to the place, I foresaw wild flowers mingling with the music played at the Auditorium, a journey along paths dotted by my sculptures.”
The result was fantastic!
