Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in memory of yet another locally-owned "mom 'n' pop" shop that has gone out of business.

Carlock's Food King had been in business for 65+ years, but recently went out of business.  LIke so many small stores, they couldn't compete with the big superstores.  :-(  To find the cache, you can park in the empty store parking lot, and walk across the quiet side street.  The cache is hidden near the road, and is a quick P&G.  The container is a little smaller than a Chapstick tube.  A pair of tweezers might be handy to remove the log. BYOP!
