Geocache Description:

This is a pretty easy cache, almost a park and grab.

This cache is to honor our Dad.
  Our Dad.

He was a true Vermonter because he could do just about anything.  You name it and he could fix it, or make another.  His favorite hobbies were woodworking, farming the land, sugar making, and riding motorcycle for creamie's which later on, he transferred to riding ATV.  He built his own house (with a lot of help), and all the out buildings on his homestead.  He was definitely an outdoorsman.

Family was always important to him and he enjoyed visiting his kids.  If he came to visit, you'd better be there, or you'd find some things moved around.  Like the potted plant would move from your porch to the driveway, or your door wreath now decorated the garage door.  You also needed a project for him to work on while he was there, he was forever busy and if you didn't have a project, he would start one!

His latest project was to build a gathering place for us all to camp at, and we still enjoy our family gatherings in that special place.

Speaking of sugar making, the large tree here is a tribute to that hobby.  I'm sure he tapped this tree for the sap to boil down to maple syrup.  You are looking for a black film canister, so bring your own pen.
