Drenthe

Population: 150

The first settler in at this location in Zeeland township was Jan Hulst in 1847. John D. Everhard became the first postmaster of the Drenthe post offfice on nov. 21, 1877. The office ended operations on Jan. 2, 1907. The village was named after a province in the Neatherlands  whence many of the early settlers had emigrated.
