Once you have visited the beautiful town of Starigrad, spent the day on the beach and have eaten the wonderful food in the cozy little restaurants you may feel like doing a little exercise. Than this cache is perfect for you! Going to Starigrad vistapoint takes about 20 mins, involves some hiking and offers you an amazing view over Starigrad and parts of the island of Hvar. In Starigrad follow the harbour road from the market for about 200m. Go uphill the main road out of town until it turns left and you see a sign for a church/vistapoint. Follow this sign. When the small track divides, go right. After that you will see numbers on the ground (probably for the prayers). After a short hike you have reached the top, where you can find the big cross and a small chapel. Sit down on a little bench, enjoy the view, relax and grab the cache:) The hike is also possible with small kids. **************************************************** Nachdem Du die wunderschöne Altstadt von Starigrad besichtigt hast, am Strand rumgehangen bist und das leckere Essen in den niedlichen Restaurants genossen hast, kann das Gefühl aufkommen, dass Du wieder ein wenig Anstrengung brauchst;) Dann ist dieser Cache genau das richtige für Dich! Es dauert ca. 20 Minuten, um zum Cache z gelangen und belohnt Dich mit einem fantastischen Blück über Starigrad und einen Teil der Insel Hvar. Vom Markt folge der Hafenstrasse für ungefähr 200m. Sobald Du auf der rechten Seite eine Hauptstrasse siehst, folge dieser den Berg hoch bis Du auf der rechten Seite ein weisses Schild siehst, welches Dir den Weg zur Kirche/Aussichtspunkt zeigt. Folge diesem Weg. Wenn er sich gabelt, nimm den rechten Abzweig. Ab nun siehst Du Nummern auf den Steinen (die vermutlich die Gläubigen beim Beten helfen sollen). Nach einer kurzen Wanderung hast Du das grosse Kreuz und die kleine Kapelle erreicht. Setz Dich auf die Bank, ruh Dich aus und schnapp Dir den Cache! Diese kurze Wanderung ist auch mit kleinen Kindern möglich.
