Doggy Dream Trail Revisited
at Jacksons Boat, M33 2LX
on Sunday 19th August, 1pm onwards.


Jackson’s Boat is an historic inn situated on the banks of the River Mersey in Sale, Cheshire adjacent to Sale Water Park. It has a countryside setting and is surrounded by woodland but is only minutes away from Central Manchester and the M60 and only a short walk from either Sale or Chorlton. There is a large beer garden with children’s play area. Traditional pub food is served all day – check out the Sunday Menu – and they sell a selection of real ales. They aim to be family friendly – kids love running around the grounds. Dogs are also most welcome – water is always available and doggie treats are available from the bar. Bicycle hire and repair is also available in association with The Bike Barn

About time we had another get together for all the family, isn't it? Hopefully in sunshine. This Pub is great for that and also happens to be the parking point for my first hidden series, Doggy Dream Trail. Due to both work carried out in the area recently and age, it has become a little tired. And so the old series is being archived and the new, refreshed series will be published on the day of the Event. There are, of course, other caches nearby in Sale Water Park and along the Mersey. I will also be refreshing Ashton Series and The Island Series, which are also along the Mersey but further up, should you wish to extend your caching walk/day.
