Den 280 meter lange Holentunnelen vart opna 11. oktober 2011. Den erstatta ein smal parsell av gamlevegen frå 1936. Den krappe svingen ved Holen hadde i mange tiår vore ein av dei farlegaste og mest ulukkesutsette delane av vegen Olden-Innvik. Ved denne svingen kan ein tydeleg sjå kor smal vegen vidare austover var, med bratte fjellet på eine sida og steinmuren frå 1936 på andre sida. Etter at Agjeldstunnelen vart opna 30. juni 2014 gjenstår det no berre éin planlagd tunnel på vegen Olden-Innvik, den nye Vanbergstunnelen. Med litt flaks og politisk vilje vil heile strekninga kunne ha god 2-felts veg innan år 2020. Cachen ligg ved gamlevegen. Tilrådd parkering ved austenden av tunnelen.

The 280 meter long Holen tunnel was opened 11 October 2011. It replaced a narrow part of the old road from 1936. The sharp turn at Holen had for many years been one of the most dangerous and accident ridden parts of the road between Olden and Innvik. At this turn you can see how narrow the road is going east, with steep hills on one side and the original rock wall from 1936 on the other side. After the Agjeld tunnel was opened 30 June 2014 there is now just 1 additional tunnel planned on the Olden-Innvik road, the new Vanberg tunnel. With some luck and political will we might have good two lane road the whole stretch before year 2020. The cache is placed by the old road. Preferred parking at the east end of the tunnel.
