Geocache Description:

Now There Is A Bridge

Where there wasn't before...

This area has been a favorite fishing spot of my family for years. So make sure you bring your fishing pole. We have also seen a lot of people put kayaks in here, as the area is beautiful for a ride.

Up until recently there was not a bridge over the water here so you could not get to the other side of the water, but now there is so it opens up a whole new area to explore.

Just a warning, once you get there you will understand, please keep little kids close until after you cross the bridge. There are still spots where they can fall on either side of where the bridge is. I have brought my 3 y/o geo-toddler up there many times, and there wasn't a problem. But just be aware. After the bridge it is an old cart road that you walk down.

Minimal bushwacking is needed, only about the last 50 feet and the area is not extremely overgrown. The geo-toddler had no trouble making it to the cache from the path.

(Directions) After you cross the RR tracks, the road splits, stay to the left. You will come to a dead end road with barriers across it. Park there (and make sure you grab the evil cache that is there on your way.) Cross the bridge and head towards the cache.

Congrats to Dschofield91 and amberlamps94 for Co-FTF!
