This cache is placed in a Newton Falls city park, situated on the west branch of the Mahoning River, where the namesake "Newton Falls" flows.
Please be mindful of children and safety warnings... small children can possibly squeeze between railings and there is no need to be on the outside of safety railings, or to get wet, during the finding of this cache. Please observe all safety warnings.
This park has 2 gazebos, benches, picnic tables, and a veteran's memorial. Be sure to check out the town water tower on the topside of the falls. There is a public parking area across the street from the park, near the water tower, on the south side of Broad Street. To avoid crossing Broad Street, the park can be accessed on the west side from the Shop-n-Save parking lot and on the east side from the McDonald's parking lot. The 2 halves of the park are connected by the sidewalk on the Broad Street bridge.
Dawn to dusk caching recommended. Cache has room for a few tradables or travel bugs... travel bug, "Efficient Dispatch" is launching from this new cache.
Cache was placed with permission of the Newton Falls Parks and Recreation Board.
