Kindersley is a prosperous growing town of just under 5000 people. It is surrounded by rich farmland and numerous deposits of petroleum and natural gas. It is also a service hub for West Central Saskatchewan. Much information can be gained from the Town’s website, for which I have provided a link.
I’ve set out a dozen caches so far; half in Kindersley, and half within a 30 km rural radius, and have noted from that, and in my own geocaching experience, that most cachers will log the caches along a highway, or where they don’t have to venture too far from their vehicle. Therefore, I have placed these two caches adjacent to highway 21, and not far from the major highway 7 corridor. There are a number of more interesting caches in town and in the surrounding area that will take you to more scenic, or more historic sites, or may take you on very pleasant walks along our beautiful trails. While in Kindersley, check out the shopping, restaurants, and first class recreational facilities in this vibrant Saskatchewan town. By the way, the cache is a magnetic keyholder, so you’ll bring something to write with, right? If not, your vehicle will only be a few steps away, and you’ll have one there.
