This cache temporarily unavailable [10-May-2017]

This property was recently sold and the Geocache has been removed 10-May-2017. It is not known whether the new owners will allow our cache to be reinstalled sometime in the future. Gustaf & Helena Anderson truly struck it rich prospecting in Montana.  They then chose Chisago County, MN as a great area to raise generation after generation. Upon their return to Minnesota, they purchased two farmsteads in the Franconia area. These properties were left to their sons when they later retired to Lindstrom, MN. This house built in 1890/91 time period and represents a true "American Dream".  It has more luxuries than most of that time.  The exterior is brick, the interior includes detailed wood work, two stories, two porches and several bedrooms. This house is listed on the National Historic Register.
