Goat Island Excursion - Summer 2012
The excursion will take place on Saturday, July 14th, 2012. We will meet at the "Starting Point" at 9:00 am. After an initial setup, we will take some vehicles to the "Ending Point" at Clay County Park and then return to embark on the excursion!
This event will take place on the Mighty Mo (Missouri River) as well as Goat Island. You will need your own watercraft! Canoes, kayaks, and light boats are the recommended form of transportation as larger boats may not work at this dock. If you have spare watercraft to lend out or will have an extra seat in yours, please post a note for those looking. The event log will be signed ON Goat Island, so only those making the trip will be able to log this event.
Be sure to bring along plenty of supplies and provisions for the trip and please post a "Will Attend" if you plan to make the event.
