Geocache Description:

This letterbox hybrid cache is contained in an ammo can and is located off Burtch Road. It contains the usual logbook, Geocaching info sheet, a "Miss Ellie" stamp and markers to ink the stamp with. The cache is named after one of DasiyDolittle’s friends that lives close by and has been an inspiration to her over the last couple of years, with her fight against MS. Dee has a companion named Miss Ellie that she is very fond of, so the theme of this cache dedicated to Miss Ellie the cat.

You may choose to find this cache by either using the coordinates above or by using the letterbox description below. A letterbox hybrid cache is a little different than a regular cache. Inside this cache you will find a customized rubber stamp and, in lieu of a stamp pad, markers to ink the stamp with. Bring your own personalized caching stamp or stickers to leave an imprint of your visit and log entry. Use our "Miss Ellie" stamp to also stamp your cache paper or letterbox stamp album if you like.

REMEMBER that the RUBBER STAMP and MARKERS are NOT TRADE ITEMS and MUST STAY with the cache!

You will need to start the search at the end of Burtch road N49° 51.753´ W119° 27.809´ (same starting point for another close-by cache: GC3HZ6E Expect the Unexpected). If you are not using a GPS then use these directions: Take a short walk along the asphalt path until you come to the creek. Now turn left and go along the narrow path for about 75 meters which is about as far as you can now go. On your right hand side there is a large willow tree which has now fallen and is cutting the old path off. "Miss Ellie" is hunkered down under some old wood to the right. Please make sure that you leave her in the same condition that you found her in.

Practice Safe Caching, and Be Prepared. Take your own writing implement with you. You have been warned - no sign-y! no smiley! It’s how the game works.

PLEASE: If you find any trackables (TBs or Coins) and decide to take one out to move to another cache, PLEASE log it PLEASE remember that trackables are not saveables - move them or leave them.
Congratulations Sailhard First to Find!!!!
