Legoe Bay Parking Lot Traditional Cache

Take a stroll along Legoe Bay, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
This is a great place to park to take one of my favorite walks on the island. Keeping in the low-key spirit of the island, this isn't a parking lot, it's just a grass pulloff. Here, though, it qualifies.
The beaches are private, but per Washington law, the intertidal areas are public space. If the tide is below the "Ordinary High Water Mark" --the kelp line is a safe indication--you can walk down to the tidal zone at the Marina. Of course, we have a small community, so please be polite if anyone asks why you're there.
