Geocache Description:

This cache is located a short hike from the trailhead on the Glade Trail. Shortest distance to the cache is clockwise to the west on the the Glade Trail. This portion of the trail is an easy walk.

The Glade Trail is a 1.1 mile loop trail with some moderate elevation change with spectacular views of the "Balds."

Located in the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area northwest of Branson in Taney County. Along Highway 76 out of Branson, past Shepherd of the Hills Parkway, but before you get to the Shepherd of the Hills Farm and Insperation Tower/Theater area.

“Cedar glades and balds are things common to our Ozark Mountains. Paul & Ruth Henning (creator of The Beverly Hillbillies) bought and donated this land overlooking the Roark Valley. This State Park is inside the City of Branson, within it's city limits. The State Conservation Department maintains it.”
