ParkRun Tees Barrarge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines:**You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing.**

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

This is a medium sized container located near the Tees Barrarge. It is located next to the finish of the Tees Barrarge Parkrun.

This is my third ParkRun Cache the others are at Sunderland and Durham.

Tees Barrage Parkrun is a weekly free accurately measured 5Km timed run which starts near the Tees Barrage and finishes next to the Whitewater rafting centre every Saturday morning at 9am.
The first run is on 23/6/12 and this cache is planted to commemorate that.

Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs all around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.

In the North East there are Parkruns held at Sunderland (which I attend on a weekly basis), Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead and Middlesbrough and Sedgefieldall and like all UK Parkruns start at 9am.

These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience.

Who knows i might see you there one day :)
