My third time of asking................................... to Host my Annual Event to celebrate(?) my time as a GroundSpeak Reviewer. Another year has gone by and I have, mostly, enjoyed my time doing the admin. work on behalf of all cachers past, present and future.
The Causeway Foot Inn is a friendly country pub and restaurant north of Halifax. It is a popular location for walkers and is very handy for cachers visiting Ogden Water and the surrounding countryside.
It is a very friendly pub where children and dogs are both welcome - you can even get them micro chipped here - the dogs that is!
Start to gather at the pub from 17:30 hours Leave whilst you can still stand up!.
Traditional beers and ales are on sale. Food is served between 6:00pm and 8:30 pm. The evening menu will be available, please visit the related web page link above for examples.
There is a good sized car park at the rear of the pub and overflow parking on the adjoining field.
Please log your intention to attend, stating whether you will require food (and for how many) so the landlord has an idea of catering. If you arrive earlier then pre-ordering food for later might help the Staff a little - although last year they did us proud anyway!
There will be a raffle (prize donations will be welcome) with proceeds going over the bar to the Landlord's Doggy Charity - also, perhaps, an auction of un-activated TBs and coins which I have somehow gathered. The first raffle ticket drawn will be for the honour of the FTF at the Event . This will take place around 18:30 hrs.
I look forward to finding out who belongs to all those new names that have appeared during the year.
