ACT 1000 Club No. 7 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sol de lune: Time for this series to go. With the advent of the ‘power trail’, the goal of finding 1000 caches can now be achieved over a good weekend. With that in mind, coupled with the fact that not all cachers stats are available to be found, the relevance of the series is diminished.

Thanks to all found who the cache, which has now been collected and removed…

Geocache Description:

ACT 1000 Club 7th Edition......

Well, another 6 ACT cachers have reached the great milestone of 1000 caches found.   The first 1000 caches are always the hardest they say, and the latest to do so are:

ACBC 66

Aussiepuschaks

Jmanjezza

Toy Hunters

Fusilade

Fore!

As usual, the cache is not at the posted co-ords......to find the cache you just need to work out which cache was the 1000th found by the new members of the 1000 club.   To help you along, there are a few helpful hints below.....and once you sort those, the cache can be found at:

S35 21.ABC
E149 08.DEF

______________

ACBC 66

ACBC found her 1000th cache on 22 April 2011.    So, that should make it a little easier for you to narrow down.....although she did find about 125 others on that one day.    The find was made somewhere in The Land of the Long White Cloud.....and just to confirm the find....I was along for the ride.

The log states it was find number 1000.

F = the month the 1000th find cache was placed.
_____________

Aussiepuschaks

Aussiepuscaks found their 1000th cache just a little before Christmas 2011....on the Gold Coast, and it was a beauty of a cache.

The log states it was find number 1000

E = the 2nd number in the 1000th find cache number.
_____________

Jmanjezza

Jmanjezza found their 1000th cache just a day before Christmas 2011, here in Canberra.    The cache actually reads like it should be a Tankengine hide, but alas, it does belong to someone else.

The cache log doesn't state the cache was find number 1000, so you may need to check some stats...........

C = The month the 1000th find cache was placed

_____________

Toy Hunters

Toy Hunters' 1000th was / is an epic ACT cache and was found just after one of the biggest days in our national history.    A cache that will take you all around Canberra......and then on a nice walk (or bike ride if you're into pain) to GZ.   Once you've been there, you'll know what I mean. The log states it was find number 1000.

D = the second number in the day the cache was placed.  e.g.   If 17 is the date the cache was placed, then D would = 7

______________

Fusilade

The Fusilade 1000th find was on a cache a little over the border into NSW.    You can't hear any music on that frequency, but there are a few decent beeps.   Cache was found early April 2012. The log states the find was number 1000

B = the only number in ther cache ID.

_____________

Fore!

Well, how about that......three cheers for Fore!....1000 finds.    At one stage I thought Fore! might make 1000 hides before 1000 finds, but alas, here we are celebrating 1000 finds.   Well done Fore!     Now, the cache in question was found while Fore! was attending the Oz Mega Event at Albury....any any sort of reference in the cache name to the Army is.....sort of correct.   You'll understand when you see the cache name. And yep, Fore! states the find was number 1000.

A = The day the cache was placed.
