Geocache Description:

A new cache in an old hollow.

Seven years ago, Wara Cub Pack from Happy Valley Scout Group were introduced to geocaching during a sleepover, and a cache was placed here for that purpose.  After the cubs found it, 14 very excited kids eagerly wanted to find more, and "couldn't wait to show all their friends where this was".

Their cub scout leader (Mrs Wibble) wondered exactly how long the cache would last after that! Well, the cache survived for over 5 years, and had 176 finds before being archived.

But now it's back. Another sleepover is planned, the original cubs have moved on, and a fresh batch of wanna-be cachers, some of whom have already had a taste of geocaching are eager to have caching opportunities near their Scout hall.

This park is still a familiar one for the cubs. Each year the pack records frog calls for Frog Watch, sometimes successfully (if the creek is flowing), or unsuccessfully (if the creek is dry).

You are looking for a small container in a tree hollow. There should be nothing tricky about this cache, except that sat lock can sometimes be a bit iffy due to the heavy tree cover.
