A wetland area is being developed in conjunction with plantings of native trees, which will make this a valued area in the years to come. Picnic facilities will encourage family groups here to enjoy the wildlife in their natural habitat.
The container is a little different, but a logbook and pencil are provided. Simply unscrew the lid. There is no room for swappable items.
As this is a wetland area (aka swamp) YOU CAN EXPECT TO GET WET AND MUDDY FEET
Take extra care not to cause damage to this environment while searching. There are plantings of small flax bushes and native trees and shrubs in the immediate area to avoid. You are visible from the car park, and a dwelling over the drain is occupied. Access to GZ is best done the “dry” way; from the car park, 10 meters along the walkway, then via the tree-lined spur to the left. A convenient Retrieval Aid is available for your use (if you can figure out how to use it!). Check out the added Waypoint and Hint if you wish.
Please replace the cache EXACTLY as you found it to maximise the “enjoyment” of the caching experience for the next person. As always, take care of children around waterways.
While you are in the area, you may wish to find:
