Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan; this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

We have been wandering through forests for years and we see a lot of these ribbons tied to trees or trail heads. What are they for? Who put them there? How long ago? If NPWS is dedicated to preserving these forests, then maybe we should help them to remove items that are not natural, or are no longer needed? (but not caches as you can't see them :)
