Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan; this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

The junction of Newby's Creek Road and Coopernook Forest Way marks the Northern boundary of Coorabakh National Park. From here the northern side of the road is part of the Lansdowne State Forest. Evidence of recent logging activity can be seen along this road as you travel on.
