Geocache Description:

Park in the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area parking lot and take the lane (road) past the Owens homestead.

After the homestead, continue on the ridge trail to the "Picnik Area" and then take the new trail to your left. This is a micro and you'll need to bring your own pen or pencil. It is only about 6 feet off the newest hiking trail in the area. April through October we strongly recommend insect repellent to keep off the ticks and chiggers as this is a new trail and narrow in places.
