Discover Amherstview in L&A County Passport

Discover Amherstview in L&A County

Amherstview in Loyalist Township is found in the south-east corner of Lennox & Addington County. Nestled along the shore of Lake Ontario with a beautiful view of Amherst Island, Amherstview is home to several businesses, a busy recreation centre and Fairfield House, which was named one of the 250 best examples of Canadian architecture over the last 1000 years by the Canadian Royal Architectural Institute. Amherstview is also the eastern gateway to Loyalist Parkway, and Queen Elizabeth II was on hand to officially open the parkway in 1984.

This geocache is one of 15 found in the Discover L&A County Geocaching Passport Tour.  Passports can be picked up at the following locations:

Each time you locate a cache, punch your passport.  Once all 15 geocaches are found, the passport can be redeemed for a free L&A County Geocoin. Visit the County of Lennox & Addington Office or the Land O' Lakes Tourist Office to collect your Geocoin, or mail in the completed passport (please include your return address and cacher name) to the following address to have the geocoin mailed to you:
