Altona

 

Population: 50 - 60

 

In 1868, William Seaton and Bartley Davis built a sawmill and Harrison J. Brown a flour mill on the Little Muskegon where the village of Altona was later platted, but never incorporated. A post office operated from February 1872 until November 1937. Down the road is the Altona Cemetery.


This is a 2 stage multi cache. The first stage is a small silver bison tube with coordinates to the final inside. The Final container is a mini decon container. All stages of this cache are located within the Altona Riverside park. All of the Terrain and difficulty comes from the final. At the final please put everything back as found.
