This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan; this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

Harrington's Pine Trees
Norfolk Island Pine trees such as the one here have always been a feature of the river foreshore at Harrington and the surrounding area. Photographs of the Village taken in the 1920's and 1930's show mature trees perhaps 50 years old. During WW2 many were cut down to stop them being used by the enemy as navigation beacons.
The cache is a small decon container.
