This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan; this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

Harrington Village
In the 100 years from the establishment of the Pilot Station in 1856 the western extremity of the village extended to about this point. Electricity was connected to the village in 1949, town water in 1969 and the sewer in 1976. The population recorded in the 1902 Census was 204. The current permanent population is around 2000.
The cache is a 200 ml sistema.
