Alger, Washington is a small town in northern Skagit County. Formerly a logging camp, Alger has grown to a population of 403 people. Alger is also the home of the Skagit Speedway.
The cache is placed at the "central" section of Alger, near the junction of Old Hwy 99, Cain Lake Rd, and Lake Samish Rd. This area features a few small businesses that include a hotel, restaurant, food mart, and a couple Churches.
The find should be a quick and easy park and grab, with easy access off of I-5. There is plenty of pull-out room, but be aware that traffic in the area can sometimes get heavy.
