This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan; this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

A highlight of the Wander is this view over the Manning River valley from Newbys Lookout.
This is the location of a beautiful little park next to the river and the site of the Dunbogan Jubilee Hall.
It is also the location of a very interesting sculpture which is one of a series which dot the riverbank from North Haven all the way around to Dunbogan.
There is a toilet block as well as a boat ramp and is a lovely place to lie on the grass eating your fish and chips. There is also a small take-away just a little way up the road that you would have driven past to get here where you can stock up on refreshments or a hamburger.
